- No brokerage connection. We never link to your trading account, place trades or hold funds.
- No portfolio upload. Watchlists, screeners and settings are stored on your device.
- We don't sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- Minimum collection. A phone number if you sign in, purchase records if you pay, and diagnostics so we can fix crashes.
- You can leave. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove your personal data.
01 Scope and acceptance
This Privacy Policy describes how SteelCo Ventures ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Stock View application for iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows, and the website at stockviews.online (together, the "Service").
By downloading or using the app, this Privacy Policy automatically applies to you — so please read it carefully before using the app. If you do not agree with this policy or our Terms of Service, exit the application and do not access or use the Service.
02 Data we collect and why
You may be asked to provide personal identification information, including but not limited to a phone number and contact information, when using our app. The table below lists every category of data we handle.

a. Authentication and personalisation
We use the information you provide to authenticate and register you through login, personalise your experience, and offer content and features tailored to your preferences.
b. Improvement of services
User feedback and diagnostic information help us continually improve our services, features and user interface.
c. Communication
We may use the phone number you provide to respond to inquiries, questions and other requests.
03 What we never collect
Stock View is built local-first, and some things simply never leave your device or are never requested at all:
- Brokerage credentials or account access. Stock View never connects to a brokerage account, never places trades and never holds funds. It is a read-only analytics tool that fetches public market data and runs computations locally.
- Portfolio holdings or trade history. There is no portfolio upload in the product.
- Payment card details. Card and banking details are entered with Apple, Google or our payment processor — we never see or store them.
- Contacts, photos, microphone or precise location. The app does not request these permissions.
04 How we use your information
We use the data described above only to operate and improve the Service — specifically, to register and authenticate you, deliver and validate licences, provide customer support, diagnose crashes and performance problems, measure feature usage in aggregate, comply with legal and tax obligations, and detect fraud or licence abuse.
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects, and we do not build advertising profiles from your activity in the app.
05 Children's privacy
Our Service does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not use our Service. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@stockviews.online and we will delete it.
06 Communications
We may use your personal information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, email, SMS and other information that might be relevant to you. Every marketing message includes a way to opt out, and opting out does not affect service messages such as licence, billing or security notices.
We reserve the right to decline any type of account, data or promotion without prior notice.
07 Data security
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information. Data in transit is encrypted using TLS, access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel, and we collect only what the product needs to function.
Please noteNo transmission method or storage system is 100% secure. While we implement reasonable security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you share information with us at your own risk.
08 Sharing your personal information
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal identification information to others. We share data only in these limited situations:
- Service providers. App stores and payment processors that bill your purchase, cloud hosting providers that run our infrastructure, crash and analytics tooling, and messaging providers that deliver login codes — each acting on our instructions and only to the extent needed to perform their function.
- Legal obligations. Where disclosure is required by law, court order or a valid request from a public authority.
- Business transfers. If the Service is merged, acquired or reorganised, your data may transfer as part of that transaction; this policy continues to apply until replaced by a notified successor policy.
09 Third-party services and links
The app may link to third-party sites or use third-party APIs — for example, stock data providers, news services, app stores and payment processors. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them.
At our discretion we may add web links to other websites from our website or app. These websites can be run by third parties with separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility, nor are we liable, for any content, activities or privacy policies of these linked sites. We suggest you read the privacy policy of each and every site you visit.
Store billingSubscriptions on iPhone and Android are billed by Apple or Google through your account on their store, not on this site. Their handling of your payment information is governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.
10 Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, as set out in the table in section 02. When a retention period ends, or when you ask us to delete your account, we delete or irreversibly de-identify the data — except where a longer period is required by tax, accounting or other applicable law.
11 Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent you previously gave, and receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@stockviews.online from the address or phone number associated with your account. We respond within 30 days. We will never charge you or degrade your service for making a request.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, we confirm that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
12 Third-party data accuracy
We rely on data and reports obtained from third-party vendors to enhance the information provided on our app and website. We cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of data sourced from these external entities. While we strive to offer reliable and up-to-date information, you are encouraged to exercise your own discretion and conduct independent research, understanding that we assume no responsibility for the accuracy of third-party data integrated into our platform.
13 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email, and the effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
14 Governing law and dispute resolution
Any disputes arising out of or related to the use of the application or website, including issues concerning privacy or the interpretation of these terms, will be exclusively resolved through arbitration under the laws of India. The arbitration proceedings will take place in Lucknow, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be binding and final. You agree that the courts located in Lucknow shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal proceedings, and consent to the venue and jurisdiction of such courts for the resolution of disputes.
